Trinity Mirror Switches Bingo Software
The online Bingo playing environment is constantly changing, and one of the UK’s largest newspaper groups has just announced they will be switching the software and game platform which run all of their online Bingo sites.
Trinity Mirror who are the owners of the Daily Mirror and the Daily Record along with The Sunday People, the Sunday Mail, plus a whole range of regional newspapers which include the Liverpool Echo, the Manchester Evening News and both the Newcastle Chronicle and the Western Mail are swapping their current Dragonfish Bingo platform for the more popular and user friendly Playtech Bingo gaming platform.
The Dragonfish Bingo platform is utilised by many different companies and is part of the 888 Group who also own and operate their own Bingo and Casino sites, however it does appear their Bingo platform has not been as popular as Trinity Mirror had hoped and as such they have opted to move all of their online Bingo sites, of which they have several, over to Playtech’s much more feature packed Bingo platform which goes by the name of the Virtue Fusion Bingo Platform.
Playtech bought out Virtue Fusion several years ago, and this company had invested heavily in designing what many players describe as the best Bingo gaming and software platform currently available, and it wasn’t long before Playtech tweaked and enhanced the platform which now powers
many online Bingo sites.
As many newspapers have been offering free Bingo games for many years it was a natural progression for them in regards to offering their readers an online Bingo site, however Trinity Mirror had noticed for quite a while that their income from their Dragonfish powered site had been dropping, hence their decision to switch over to Playtech’s Virtue Fusions Bingo platform.
